Grout Haze Polished Marble

If it is actually a cement haze then if you take some diluted vinegar in a out of the way spot and apply it to the haze it should remove it. Low rpm scrub machine 175 350 rpm wet dry vac. White nylon scrub pad or aquascrub cotton towels squeegee optional. Of course rinse the spot with clean water right away and wipe dry.

Grout haze removal solutions first if you already have acetone or mineral spririts you can try to remove the haze with these. Most grout haze removers are acidic and will etch the marble dulling the surface and ruining the finish. Nearly all grout haze removal products are made with acids and will etch burn the marble floor tile ruining the polished finish and leaving it dull. Polished marble is a very hard surface that has to be burnished with diamond encrusted pads to restore the finish so we set about this task using a set of tile doctor burnishing pads. To remove grout haze cement latex modified and epoxy that has dried on polished acid sensitive stone surfaces. Because it is a polished marble made of calcium carbonate it makes it acid sensitive.

Most grout haze removers are acidic and will etch the marble dulling the surface and ruining the finish. Dampen the grout haze with pure water first to see if that removes it. You can start cleaning it right after the grout lines dry.
